Foul Air Extraction

Odor Evaluation

Odor complaints often occur when a sewer collection system is under positive pressure, allowing the odorous air to escape into the atmosphere. Webster Environmental Associates has recently been awarded the opportunity to conduct foul air extraction studies. This testing will identify how much of the collection system can be kept under negative pressure from an extraction fan so that an odor control system can be installed to prevent odor complaints and mitigate corrosion in the collection system.
