WEA Biosolids Handling Projects

WEA has been a leader in the development of new biosolids processing systems, including:

• N-Viro – Alkaline stabilization with drying
• ViTAG – Drying and pelletizing with enhanced nutrients and odor control
• Supercritical Water Oxidation (SCWO) – High pressure (3,500 psig), high temperature (1150oF) oxidation of organics in a reactor piping with heat recovery and energy generation.

WEA designed four (4) N-Viro drying processes in Canada, including for the Towns of Leamington, ON, Sarnia, ON, Niagara, ON, and Halifax, NS.
